When our house was built over 16 years ago we went “standard” and included very few upgrades. Upgrades cost more money, so where we did upgrade, it was areas we knew we would never go back and do ourselves.
In each bathroom, over the vanity, I have those large frameless mirrors. They are great for seeing all you need to see, but they’re ugly. My grandmother Lucy would always decorate her mirrors with seashells, ribbons, jewels and paint to create a frame around those mirrors.
I thought I would give it a try.
The only expense was buying the jute rope.

I measured around the mirrors times 4 to determine how much rope I would need to create a rope frame. I found the jute at Joann Fabrics.

I think Grandma Lucy would have liked it!
