How to Resurrect a cabinet to create Pantry Space

I have a small kitchen with a small pantry. With grandkids, in an active household, that little pantry just wasn’t enough. Since my living and kitchen space are open concept, I decided to turn a free standing cabinet into my extra pantry.

During my kitchen makeover, I decided to use some of the blue paint I used on my kitchen cabinets to refresh the free standing pantry cabinet.

I painted the panels on the doors and on the sides. I replaced the door knobs with some old ceramic knobs that I had used on another piece of furniture I refreshed.

This was a quick and easy project!

Before you get rid of an outdated piece of furniture, try to imagine it as a new and valuable part of your home décor. If you think someone else can benefit from that unwanted piece of furniture, then there’s a good chance you can, too. A quick refresh is often all you need. It won’t take much time and it will save you a lot of money!
