Boogie Board Upcycle

Whenever my family heads to the beach, we purchase boogie boards for the kids. That $35 purchase usually ends up left behind or in the trash.

I saved one from our last vacation and upcycled it into a new piece of seaside home décor.

I cut off the fabric cover.

I then painted one side a neutral color using chalk paint (it’s what I had handy).

I covered the other side with peel and stick wallpaper that I had left over from another project.

Then I took a Jute cord, wrapped it around the edges and attached it with a hot glue gun.

I finished by adding a few Starfish for character.
