There are Endless Creations inside a Box – Just add Jute

A cardboard box has a long life well past its purpose as the cheap container that delivered your Amazon order. Many people use them as weed barriers in gardens and flower beds. We’ve all saved them to move or to store holiday decorations. Kids love to play in them, and many playhouses have been constructed with boxes. And of course, every cat needs a box.
What would I do with a cute little cardboard box? Cover it in jute twine, add some denim fabric and give it a few embellishments. Another easy project using a hot glue gun and jute!

I started wrapping the box with jute twine using a glue gun. I started at the top opening of the box and worked all the way down, covering the bottom as well.

I decided to embellish by gluing on a large button and layered it with a wood cutout. These are items I had in my craft stash.
I love this! Perfect for my TV remotes, but the starfish looks cuter!
