Prime Day Means Lots of Boxes to Upcycle

Prime Day is pretty much Black Friday in July. This year, the shopping event is July 11 -12. That means lots of boxes on your front door step. Instead of wondering how you’re going to fit them all into the recycle bin, here’s a round up of posts on how to upcycle a cardboard box.
I also want to give a pro tip on how to shop on Prime Day. Although it’s tempting to spend the entire day with your eyes glued to Amazon, it’s not exactly a budget friendly thing to do. Therefore, I recommend doing some shopping now. Find those items you hope will be deeply discounted on Prime Day, and go ahead and put them in your cart. That cart price is not frozen. It will update whenever the product’s price updates, so you can simply watch your cart, and when that sweet price appears, hit the buy button!
If you’re not a Prime customer, Amazon is currently running early Prime Day deals that include half off of a Prime Membership. There will be big deals on Amazon tech gear, like Kindle, Echo and security devices. Honestly? Kindle summer reads are perfect for lazy days at the beach.
Your new Kindle is coming in a flat box, so save it and make a decorative tray! If you purchase Alexa, echo or any security devices, the boxes will be smaller, but easy to upcycle.
I usually shop for sheets, comforters or towels during Prime Day. Those boxes are great for this Seaside Resurrection favorite.
Truthfully, just about any size or shape of box can become a quick and inexpensive home décor project. So put some jute twin and crafting supplies in your cart, and wait for the savings.
